For years the empty rings of an old hoop house sat abandoned next to the vegetable garden. One winter my dad made it his winter project to revitalize this unutilized farm resource. He built a new frame around the ring, raised beds, planting tables, and recovered the entire thing. Now it’s one of the most productive areas of the farm, and the ginger grows slowly inside all season, waiting to be harvested in the fall and enjoyed.
INGREDIENTS: Kombucha tea, ginger, lime
This kombucha fairly jumps out of the bottle! A deceptively simple combination of ginger and lime provides a healthy take on ginger ale.
