Description
Fieldstone Kombucha, LLC is New England’s craft kombucha company. I produce the freshest kombucha using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. The kombucha is sold at farmers markets in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I seek two responsible, enthusiastic people to join the team working at farmers markets and assisting with the brewing process. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position. The world of farmers markets is a lively culture that is a fun place to learn about local products and share kombucha. The brewery is an exciting place and gives you great exposure to the brewing process. This position is a contractor role, paid hourly, for approximately 15-20 hours/week. You must have access to your own vehicle.
Requirements
- Farmers Markets
- Available every Monday and Saturday from May to November
- Able to:
- Drive and have your own vehicle
- Lift and carry 50lb
- Responsibly handle money
- Friendly, knowledgeable face of the business
- Reliable & responsible
Brewery
- Available Mondays and/or Thursdays
- Able to take direction
- Interest in kombucha fermentation process
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or a brewery is highly recommended
Responsibilities
- Farmers Markets
- Set up market stall before market and take it down after the market
- Engage with customers at the market in a friendly and proactive manner, including answering questions and being a knowledgeable resource on the business, kombucha, and fermentation
- Sell kombucha
- Responsibly handle money
- Track sales
- Return & organize supplies at the end of the market
- Brewery
- Assist in brewing and bottling process
- Deliveries
- Pack and transport kombucha to predetermined drop-off locations
Compensation
$15/hr
