Turmeric, like ginger is native to the tropics. With a little extra care and covering it can be grown in temperate climates like New England. It takes all season, but it’s well worth the effort. The rhizome (root) pieces are planted in mid spring in greenhouses and harvested in September and October.
INGREDIENTS: KOMBUCHA TEA, TURMERIC, GINGER, BLACK PEPPER
A delicious, savory flavor. The turmeric is a bold spice, moderated with a bite of ginger and peppercorns. Perfect for a hot day.
